Nazareth Rivas is a Nicaraguan self-taught visual artist based in Colorado. Her practice centers on animals as a space of emotional reflection and personal escape. She is drawn to their silent presence, strength, and natural majesty, as well as the way they exist beyond language, communicating through instinct and presence alone. Through painting, she translates inner emotion into visual form, creating works that hold what is often unspoken and internal.
